After my recent trip to South Victoria; Phillip Island and the Mornington Peninsula, I just couldn't resit painting these gorgeous little creatures. Australia's precious little penguins really are the cutest in the world. 
I was so privileged to see a few of them waddle around and one in particular that was in its little burrow nursing an egg.
 
With this original artwork I wanted to show them waddling back to their burrow at twilight. The stars in the evening sky are bright so maybe this little couple will produce an egg tonight.
