SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY

Once you have purchased an artwork, the utmost care is taken to ensure it is packed well and arrives to you safely and in a timely manner.

 

PACKAGING

Framed artworks, this includes all paintings with an external frame and stretched canvases ready to hang, will be packaged flat with bubble wrap and cardboard.

Unframed artworks on canvas will typically be rolled in a tube, ready for framing.

Unframed artworks on paper will be either rolled, or packaged flat with cardboard.

All of the above will include a signed certificate of authenticity.

 

TIMING FOR READY-MADE ARTWORKS

Once you have completed your purchase online, your artwork will typically be packaged and shipped within 3-5 business days. Your artwork should arrive within 7-10 business days of purchase, in Australia.

 

CUSTOM ARTWORKS

Timing for the creation of custom artworks is quoted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the level of detail and size of the artwork. Once created and dry (suitable for packaging and transport), your artwork will be packaged and shipped. 

You should allow approximately 5 – 6 weeks for receipt of your artwork. This accounts for a minimum of 4-5 weeks for acrylic paintings when making a custom artwork request, plus additional time for shipping.

DELIVERY COSTS

All pricing includes delivery costs within Australia, excluding to remote locations.

An additional shipping / courier cost may apply for delivery to:

  • Remote locations within Australia

  • International delivery locations

If required, please contact the artist for a shipping quote. Shipping costs must be paid IN FULL prior to shipping and delivery of any artworks.

 

DELIVERIES AND TRACKING

Only the artist’s shipping agent / courier can be used for deliveries. All deliveries are posted with a tracking service, for receipt during business hours from Monday to Friday. Once your artwork has been packaged, you will receive a tracking number for your delivery by email.

Please note that deliveries can only be made to residential or commercial premises (not PO Boxes).

 

SIGNATURE ON RECEIPT OF DELIVERY

Someone is required to be present to sign for the receipt of the artwork. Deliveries cannot be redirected to a new address.

 

REMOVAL OF PACKAGING AND PLACEMENT INSIDE

Please note that couriers provide door-to-door service, however this does not include carrying your artworks inside, the removal of packaging, or placement on your walls.

Please take care unpacking your artwork to avoid damage.

 

INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES

For international purchases, additional shipping / courier costs may apply, particularly for framed works. Please contact the artist Andrea for a shipping quote before making any online purchase. 

International shipping costs must be agreed and paid in full prior to securing an artwork for sale, dispatch and delivery of any artworks.

Original canvas artworks can be shipped internationally at the price it is listed only if:

  1. It is taken off the canvas frame and carefully rolled into a mailing tube.

  2. Collector MUST contact the artist first so this is agreed BEFORE the sale goes through.

 

RETURNS OR CHANGE OF MIND UPON RECEIPT OF ARTWORKS

Returns or Exchanges for Change of Mind are only permissible for ready-made artworks from the online gallery website.

A 5 day cooling off period applies to ready-made artworks purchased. Within this period you can return the artwork to the artist for an exchange or refund. Exchanges can only be made with other artworks currently for sale on the website.

Please note:

  1. You must email within 5 days of receiving your artwork stating that you wish you return it.

  2. Packaging, shipping and insurance of the artwork back to the artist is at your own expense. The artwork must be packaged securely and picked up using the artist’s chosen courier service.

  3. The artwork must be returned in the same condition you received it in order to receive a full refund or exchange.

 

DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

An artist takes every care to package your artwork safely, and use professional postal services or couriers who handle fragile goods. If however, your purchased artwork has been damaged in transit, you must notify the artist immediately within 24 hours of receipt of the artwork.

In order to register the damage, please ensure you follow the steps below:

  1. Take a photo of the damaged box or parcel PRIOR to opening it

  2. Take a photo of the internal packaging (still bubble-wrapped)

  3. Take a photo of the artwork once opened

  4. Email the photos to the artist Andrea.

 

All the above steps are required as they provide vital evidence that there has been damage. This will be the quickest way to start the process of refund or exchange.
