What's not to love about these beautiful birds, Peacocks. Their elegant charm and stunning colours.
The first step was to brush the entire canvas with a structured paste to give an almost feathered like appearance. Then painted with an acrylic colour wash, once all dry I then added those tail colour variations to the top with a palette knife.
All sides of the canvas are the same as the over all background colour wash.
Metallic gold is used in this painting.
