Following through with my bee series, this time with a Bumble bee and a honey bee,

I love watching nature come to life again in Spring. With new growth and fresh vibrant colours.

I am particularly fond of blossom trees and have attended few blossom festivals, here in Australia and overseas. Many types of blossom trees typically flower before their leaves emerge in the spring and that’s what draws me to their dazzling display. This phenomenon, known as hysteranthous, is an adaptation that allows flowers to be more visible to pollinators like bees when the tree is not obscured by foliage.

Be kind and help our bees do what they love to do.

Of all the insect pollinators, bees are the only ones that collect pollen to eat. As such, bees are responsible for all the world's pollination.... And delicious honey from nectar of course with various bee species!
