My vision:
When creating this I thinking about the beautiful colours of the ocean; coral, fish and crustaceans. Mixing it all up with an abstract view full of colourful marine life.
The first step was to palette knife the entire canvas with light greens and blues for shallow waters. Whilst it was still wet I then add warmer colours, coral colour, pinks, reds, purples and yellows so that they blended, streaked or merged with the cooler colours of the background just as I envisioned. Once all dry I added a few extra layers with a palette knife to achieve the desired effect I was looking for.
