I had the joy of staying in Port Douglas, enchanted by the tropical climate, colours and calmness that one experiences there.
I don’t often paint man made objects but I was completely captivated by the entire scene as the sun slowly descends behind the land and this yacht made its way into the marina after a day out.
Perched between the palm trees near the Tin Shed and Sugar Wharf, gazing out as a very colourful ambiance spreads across the sky and sea.
