In this painting are you relaxing on a beach or are you swimming in the ocean? What an amazing country we live in! From Humpback whales and dolphins jumping, to up close and personal with a sea turtle, ALL of this I have witnessed whilst they are in the wild. Truly remarkable experiences I will always cherish. From the tranquil sandy shores of Australia’s beaches, to snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef where a sea turtle pops up face to face with you, what’s not to love about that.
Normally I add a figure in my surreal artworks but this time I have let these incredible mannals and creatures take the spot light, and so they should. The ocean is the heart and the lungs of our beautiful blue planet. No matter where you live, you are connected to the sea.
